Is travel to Bienvenue Gourmand included in the cost of the course?
No. Travel costs are not included. We find that guests prefer different means of travel (flights, driving down) so we leave it to you. However, we are quite happy to look into and book flight options for you for a small fee.
How long does it take to get to the villas?
If flying, Bergerac is our nearest airport and is approximately 45 minutes away. Bordeaux is also an option, although this is two hours away.
If driving, the journey is approximately 6 hours from Dieppe or 7-8 hours from Calais.
Are the Bedrooms ensuite?
There are nine bedroom options. Most are ensuite but a couple share a bathroom and one has access to a private loo which is outside the bedroom
Are drinks included?
We have a soft drinks, wine, beer and spirits package on offer for £75 per person per week. If guests opt in they will have access to an aperitif before dinner, wine during the meal and a digestif after dinner. Further, a certain level of drinks are covered at the restaurant (an aperitif, 3 glasses of wine, coffee and a calvados or equivalent), however, if you would like to buy more or you would like more expensive wines, these will need to be covered by you.
The wine tastings are included in the cost of the course for all guests.
Yes, we can accommodate various dietary requirements. Please note that everything is cooked on site in the same kitchen.
